Blow drying Good blow-drying is an art that most hairdressing salons don't get. When you have one of our blow-drys you really appreciate the true art of the Mayfair 'finish', that is polished and relaxed and that stays looking in great shape longer.

Setting Setting is still cool especially when done well. We use setting regularly on photo shoots to achieve volume and shape while being soft and full.

Irons Got the most difficult hair? We can tame any hair! 99% of hair we will blow dry but for the really stubborn 1% we will use our special Martyn Maxey technique with straightening irons to smooth your hair to perfection.

Colouring Colouring is all about communication, and at Martyn Maxey we always give a thorough consultation so that both you and the colourist know exactly what colour and effect you want to achieve and then we achieve it.

Semi Permanent/ vegetable colour Nice relaxed colour for shine or colour enhancement. Will cover some grey but not strong enough to give any 'lift' Mostly tends to fade out with little or no roots.

Tint Permanent colour that will cover grey hair. Colour grows out. But you can achieve great effects with this type of colour.

Highlights Normally we would give a client One full head and two half heads of highlights in a year and depending on holidays or parties we may do a T-Section as well.

½ Head This is great for some one new to highlights or just loves this effect! Creates lovely highlight effect that can be one or many colours and any tone that is complimentary or will create contrast. Our half head is the entire front of head, parting, crown, and then scattered through the back.

Full Head This is the same technique but covering the full head. Generally we only do this for you once or maybe twice a year.

T-section (¼ head) We are very generous with our sections, this is for people who have highlights and want to cover any regrowth but don't need extra colour in the sides and back we do may this for you once or twice in a year.

Special Effects This are simple sensational! We apply flashes of permanent colour around the face in either contrasting or complimentary colours which add lightness and interest to your cut and style, and you have no roots.
